To keep things fair, ten hands make up a Slip. No one shot lucky strikes, players must tough it out over ten different hands, strong or weak, to see who’ll come out ahead. If you’re behind after a few hands it gives you a chance to be aggressive and come back or if you’re ahead an opportunity to consolidate or increase your gains.
Some hands will be worth more than others. Pay attention to the multiple to the right of the hand at the top of your game console. It’s color coded and will change from hand to hand and within the hand itself. Speaking of worth, SLIPS are played for units and it’s up to the Players to decide what a unit is worth. In a modest game this could be $1 or $2 and in a heavier one perhaps $10 (or whatever currency unit you’re comfortable with). Remember this is a game played among friends. You can even play for a set amount (or beverage round) for the entire Slip, it’s up to you.
